The main functionality is as reminder tied to a place: you can mark points on a Google Map and associate the point to a reminder title, a long description, day start and end day, time of day (start time to end time, with the necessary validity checks) and a checkbox for each day of the week to indicate which days must be enabled in your memo (for the hours range).
Given a distance in meters (default 20 meters, but can be changed) for each reminder, when you will be near to a recorded geographic point (this technique is knowed as "geofencing") it will be launched the user ringtone + defined vibration duration with the notice that the user himself has defined, clicking it does stop vibration and sound.
Of course there is a reminders management list, edit and / or delete the reminder, optional suspension.
Optionally, the user path is recorded to a Google Earth file, which you can then share (the program automatically starts this feature when you save the path at the end of trip) on Facebook, GoogleDrive, etc..
In PlaceMinder 2 there is also the management of exported paths in Google Earth files: with a single tap you can review your path if Google Earth is installed on the phone/tablet, with a long press is possible to re-share the file (Gmail , Drive, Facebook...); the file can be also deleted from the device.
Improved error management (uses the new Splunk Mint Express) , resolved some issues.
Note: in some devices could be requested to use an app for the A-GPS data reset and download of a fresh copy, otherwise PlaceMinder does not work correctly.
So if there are troubles (Google Earth path registering and/or reminder of points not working ) try first this.
